Wood Park second graders are learning the art of storytelling from a visiting expert on Monday morning.

Actor, singer and storyteller Lou Del Bianco entertained students while inspiring them to create their own stories.

Mr. Lou shared his three elements of storytelling — conflict, climax and characters.

He gave the example of “Finding Nemo,” with Nemo’s family needing to find him, as an example of conflict.

Mr. Lou then shared a story he wrote, which involved him struggling to ride a bicycle when young.
