Wood Park first graders are learning about goods and services by getting some practical experience on Friday.

The students are acting as consumers and vendors, hawking goods such as pencils and desk organizers as well as services such as friendly hugs.

The integration lesson included writing about different careers.

The fictitious money was earned by accruing "good deeds dollars" to spend at the store.
